Mr Lim Ming Yan is an Independent/Non-Executive Director on the boards of Sembcorp Industries Ltd, Central China Real Estate Limited and DLF Cyber City Developers Limited.

In the non-profit sector, Mr Lim is the Chairman of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), the Chairman of Workforce Singapore, a member of Singapore’s Future Economy Council (FEC), a Board Director of Housing Development Board, Enterprise Singapore, Business China, as well as a board trustee of Singapore Management University.

In his 22 years at CapitaLand Limited, Mr Lim was President and Group CEO from 2013 to 2018. He was also CEO of The Ascott Limited from 2009 to 2012 and CEO of CapitaLand China from 2000 to 2009.

Mr Lim graduated with a first-class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom in 1985. He also attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 2002.

Mr Gan Seow Kee serves on the Board of the Singapore Economic Development Board and was appointed to the Singapore Council of Presidential Advisers in 2020. He also chairs the GlobalConnect@SBF Committee since 2019.

Mr Gan is a member of the National Wages Council as well as the National University of Singapore Engineering Faculty Advisory Board. He previously served on the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry’s International Advisory Panel on Advanced Manufacturing as well as the Emerging Stronger Taskforce to review how Singapore can build new sources of dynamism and stay economically resilient in a post-COVID-19 world. He currently co-chairs the Singapore Enabling Master Plan 2030.

Mr Gan was formerly Chairman and Managing Director of ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd where he served more than 40 years in the Group. He was also Vice-Chairman of Fujian Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited, China.

Mr Gan was conferred the Medal of Commendation (Gold) by NTUC in 2017 and the Distinguished Alumni Award by the National University of Singapore in 2018.

Mr Gan obtained his bachelor’s degree in engineering (with honours) from the National University of Singapore and is a Fellow with the United Kingdom Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Mr Yeoh Oon Jin is a Director of Singapore Airlines Limited and Singapore Exchange Limited. He is also the Chairman of Singapore Land Authority. Mr Yeoh serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the Nanyang Business School as well as a member of the Corporate Governance Advisory Committee, set up by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He is also a Board Member and Audit Committee Chairman of Kidney Dialysis Foundation and serves on the Board of Governors for the Lien Foundation.

Mr Yeoh was the Executive Chairman of PwC Singapore before his retirement following a 38-year career with PwC. He was previously the Vice Chairman of the Singapore Institute of Directors, past Council Member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and past Chairman of the Auditing & Assurance Standards Committee of ISCA.

Mr Yeoh graduated with First Class Honours (Accounting) from the University of Birmingham, England, and is a prize winner of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales professional exams.

Mr Andrew Kwan is the Managing Director of Commonwealth Capital group of companies, which has investments across the food vertical including barramundi farming, cold chain logistics and food manufacturing. In food services, Commonwealth’s portfolio includes PastaMania, Swissbake, Kraftwich, Udders Ice Cream, The Soup Spoon, Baker & Cook, NYC Bagel Factory, and The Poke Theory.

Mr Kwan is the Managing Director of the Commonwealth Capital group of companies, which has investments along the food vertical including aquaculture, cold chain logistics, food services, and food manufacturing.

Mr Kwan is a board member of the Singapore Food Agency and the Infocomm Media Development Authority, council member of the Future Economy Council, MAS Payments Council, co-chair of FEC Lifestyle sub-committee, President of the Restaurant Association of Singapore and a member of Committee Against Profiteering (CAP).

He is also the Deputy Chairman of Focus on the Family and an Elder at his local church.

Mr Kwan is Singapore’s non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden.

He had previously served on the boards of SPRING Singapore, Enterprise Singapore, as non-resident fellow of NUS Eusoff Hall, chairman of Aquaculture Innovation Centre and co-lead of AgriTech AfA, Emerging Stronger TaskForce.

Ms Chong Ee Rong is a Board Director with Certis Group. She is a seasoned business leader and actively holds several independent board roles. Ms Chong is also currently an Independent Non-Executive Director with Jollibee Foods Corporation (PSE-listed), as well as Chair of the Corporate Governance Committee and member of the Compensation Committee as well as Audit and Risk Committee member, and Organisational Development and Compensation Committee member. She is Vice-Chair of the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre and Chairperson of the SBF Young Business Leaders Network – Singapore’s official representative to the ASEAN Young Entrepreneurs Council and Association, since 2018.

Her previous executive roles include leadership positions with listed healthcare group – Raffles Medical Group (RMG) as Deputy Managing Director. Prior to RMG, she spent eighteen years with global integrated marketing agency - Ogilvy & Mather, across the region building global brands and businesses through various stages of growth and transformation.

Ms Chong holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide and Masters in Arts from the University of South Australia. She is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors and an accredited member of the Institute of Public Relations Singapore.

Mr Mark Lee is the Chief Executive Officer of Sing Lun Holdings Pte Ltd, a privately-owned enterprise, across a diverse range of business interests worldwide. The Group's key business interests include Industries, Investments and Real Estate, and was awarded the EY-Standard Chartered Family Business Award of Excellence in 2018.

Mr Lee is also the Non-Executive Director of Crystal International Group Limited (CIGL). CIGL is one of the world’s largest apparel manufacturers, employing about 80,000 workers worldwide, across 20 facilities in 5 countries. He also chairs the SBF Jobs and Skills Advisory Committee since 2021.

Ms Yong Hsin Yue is the Managing Director of Kuok (Singapore) Limited (“KSL”), a member of the Kuok Group. The Kuok Group is a family-owned conglomerate with investments in real estate, hospitality, logistics, agri-commodities, and shipping & shipping related businesses, amongst others. Prior to joining KSL, Ms Yong was the General Manager of Special Projects, focusing on business development for Wilmar International Limited, an agribusiness listed on the Stock Exchange of Singapore.

Ms Yong started her career in investment banking where she spent 19 years working at Goldman Sachs in Singapore and in London. Her last role was as head of the Investment Banking Division for South-East Asia with responsibilities for the operations in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines and Vietnam. She holds an MA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Worcester College, Oxford and an MBA from INSEAD.

She is also a Board Member of 65 Equity Holdings Pte Ltd and Singapore Telecommunications Ltd.

Ms Janet Ang is the Chairman of SISTIC.com Pte Ltd. She is also a Nominated MP of the Parliament of Singapore as well as Singapore’s Non-Resident Ambassador to the Holy See. She currently serves as a Senior Advisor of the RGE Group. She had a 37-year career in the information technology industry and lived and worked in Japan and China over a span of eleven years. She was Managing Director of IBM Singapore from 2001 to 2003 and again from 2011 to 2015. Janet was a member of the IBM Industry Academy. Her last executive role was as IBM Vice President, Industry Solutions, IBM Asia Pacific. Janet graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from the National University of Singapore.

Mr Chia Ngiang Hong is the Immediate Past President of the Real Estate Developers’ Association of Singapore. He joined City Developments Limited (CDL) in 1981 and has more than 40 years of experience in the real estate industry in Singapore and the region. A much-respected industry veteran, he also serves as Board Member of the Institute of Real Estate and Urban Studies and Honorary Advisor of the Singapore Green Building Council. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Surveyors and Valuers.

Mr Chia is a member of the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School Department Consultative Committee and was formerly Advisory Committee Chairman of the NUS School of Design and Environment. He sits on various committees of the Building and Construction Authority and other agencies.

Beyond his contributions in the building and construction industry, Mr Chia is also active in community and grassroots activities. He also serves as a Justice of the Peace and was awarded PBM and BBM National Day Awards.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Estate Management (Honours) from the University of Singapore and a Master’s in Business Administration (Distinction) from the University of Hull, UK.

Mr Federico Donato is the President of the European Chamber of Commerce. He is also currently the Vice President of Assocamerestero, the apex body of the Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad based in Rome, Council Member of several local and global institutions including but not limited to the UN Global Compact Singapore Chapter and ACCORD (Advisory Council on Community Relations in Defence, MINDEF Singapore). He is also the former President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and Secretary of the EU Asean Business Council. Mr Donato serves as an independent director in private companies and institutions and is a regular speaker at conferences including Apex Singapore, Trade Association Symposium, Singapore Regional Business Forum (SRBF®) and many more.

Based in Singapore since 2005, Mr Donato is Executive Director at Credit Suisse Private Banking, catering to Ultra High Net Worth Individuals, Institutions and Pension Funds. He started his career in Sanpaolo Bank in New York and worked for several financial institutions in different locations and roles, including being the founder and Chief Executive Officer of FFA Asia, a multi-family office dedicated to advising entrepreneurial families on their overall wealth.

He graduated in financial markets at Bocconi University in Finance and was visiting student at New York University.

Mr Simon Kahn is the Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and Chief Marketing Officer of Google APAC. At Google, he oversees strategy, research, brand management, advertising and more for Google’s consumer products and business solutions across sixteen countries in the region.

Under his leadership, Google Marketing in APAC has become an innovation hub recognised for its insights-led culture and propensity for taking smart risks.

Prior to Google, Mr Kahn worked at American Express as Country Manager for Singapore, in national politics at the White House Liaison office, and co-founded Youth Venture, a non-profit organisation that provides tools and resources that empower young people to build and run their own social enterprises.

Mr Farid Khan is the President of the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of Bourbon Offshore Asia, Managing Director of Bumi Subsea Asia, CEO of Greenship Holdings (since 2013), and Director of Maxsurv Pte Ltd.

A veteran in the maritime industry with over 40 years of experience, Mr Farid first started sailing with Neptune Orient Lines from 1976 till 1989. In 1990, he began his tenure as Chief Engineer in an offshore construction barge company in Indonesia.

He has worked for various shore-based companies, holding positions from Tech Manager to General Manager. In 2015, he started a JV company – Bourbon Offshore Asia, in which he has been Chairman since 2016. His scope of work encompasses managing a group of companies in the Asia Pacific Region as well as in Russia.

Mr Kho Choon Keng is the President of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Mr Kho, a Singapore President’s Scholar, graduated in 1981 with First Class Honours in BSc (Engineering) from King’s College University of London. He started his career with the Singapore Civil Service until he joined his family business in 1985.

He is now the Executive Chairman of the Singapore-based Lian Huat Group, founded by his late father Mr Kho Beng Kang. Lian Huat Group has diverse business interests in residential and commercial development, real estate investments and management in Singapore, Australia, and China.


Mr Kho holds a strong belief in corporate social responsibility and the importance of education for our future generations. He serves on several public and civic institutions. He is a Director of Business China, Vice Chairman of China and North Asia Business Group of Singapore Business Federation, a member of the Board of Trustees of NTUC-U Care Fund and Chairman of Singapore Koh Clan Association.

He also serves on the school boards of Chung Cheng High School, Nanyang Junior College, Dunman High School and is the Vice Chairman of the Singapore Chinese High School Board of Directors.

Mr Ernie Koh is the Executive Director (Marketing) of Koda Ltd (listed in the Singapore Stock Exchange 2001) and Chairman of Commune Lifestyle Pte Ltd (100% subsidiary of Koda Ltd). He is also the President of the Singapore Retailers Association. Mr Koh has significant experience in international marketing and corporate branding. He is at the helm of the Group’s marketing initiatives, particularly in customer relationship management, client base diversification, trade fairs participation, new product launches and marketing talent recruitment. He is also instrumental in identifying the latest design trends and dealing with changing consumer preferences. Mr Koh has been with Koda Ltd for more than 25 years. During his tenure, he has rapidly expanded Koda’s market share, reaching out to more than 120 customers across more than 40 countries throughout the globe.

Mr Koh is also actively involved in the business and creative communities and is often invited to present at various international conferences globally. He is Chairman of the ASEAN Furniture Industries Council (AFIC), Co-Chairman of the Independent Experts Panel for Furniture Industry as well as President of the Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC). Mr Koh also sits on and has served in various capacities in Trade Associations, Committees and Advisory Boards.

Mr Koh holds a BSc. In Marketing from the University of Oregon (USA) and an MBA in International Marketing from the San Francisco State University (USA). Ernie is married with 1 child. He is a member of the New Creation Church.

Ms Kwee Wei-Lin is the President of Singapore Hotel Association, a member of the Future Economy Council (FEC) and a member of its Lifestyle Cluster Sub-Committee. She is a council member of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) and a member of the Workplace Safety and Health Council (WSHC). Ms Kwee is also appointed the Chair of the Hospitality and Entertainment Industries Committee under the WSHC. She is an International Advisory Board Member of the IE Business School, Spain.

Ms Kwee is a Senior Vice President, Hotels at the Pontiac Land Group, a leading real estate development and investment company with over half a century of expertise and experience in luxury property development. The Group has hospitality, office, retail, medical and residential developments spanning Singapore, New York, Sydney and Maldives.

Mr Lai Chang Wen is CEO of and Co-Founder of Ninja Logistics Pte Ltd, also known as Ninja Van. After graduating with a Bachelor of Finance from Singapore Management University, he worked as a derivatives trader at Barclays before setting up men’s custom fashion retailer Marcella.

His experience with the online retail business made him realise there could be a more efficient way of delivering and tracking packages, resulting in the creation of Ninja Van and the rest, as they say, is history. Mr Lai is Forbes 30 under 30 Asia: All-Star Alumni.

Ms Lisa Liaw is a member of the American Express Country Executive Leadership teams for Singapore, Malaysia, and Philippines. Her responsibilities include overseeing the legal entity governance, financial accounting and reporting, business deals, and operational process improvements. In 2021, she assumed the finance responsibility for American Express Philippines, adding to her responsibility for Malaysia which widens her coverage over the Global Services Network function which has a strong 4,000 colleagues base that provides the best-in-class customer service to American Express card members in APAC and US. She is also part of American Express APAC finance leadership team.

In 2022, Ms Liaw completed her 2 terms of 6 years on the American Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors including the last two years as Chairman of the Board.

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from University of New South Wales, Australia, and is also an accredited INSEAD Certified International Director, Professional Fellow of Institute of Internal Auditors, and Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant.

Mr Per Magnusson is the Immediate Past Chairman of the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce. He is also a board member of the global mining and abrasives group GMA Garnet.

Mr Magnusson has been the Group CEO of Jebsen & Jessen Pte Ltd since 2015. Jebsen & Jessen is a diversified industrial group engaged in engineering, manufacturing and distribution with about 3,000 employees, spanning 31 locations and 10 manufacturing sites across Southeast Asia and beyond. It has a turnover of $1 billion across its 5 business units. Mr Magnusson is jointly overseeing the group with a direct supervision of the Packaging, Life Sciences and Technology business units as well as the emerging markets and group functions such as finance, HR and strategy. The company is family-owned and is on a long-term growth trajectory involving organic as well as M&A growth.

Mr Magnusson has spent well over 23 years in various CEO and board positions. Before joining the Jebsen & Jessen Group in 2008 as the Head of the Material Handling unit, MHE-Demag, he had acquired diverse experience ranging from working as CEO of the IT company Sema InfoSynergi to holding various senior positions in the industrial group ABB. In ABB he had assumed the roles of Vice President, Power Systems in China and President and Country Manager of ABB in Malaysia.

His studies and work had brought him to live in North America and Europe and for the last 16 years he has been living in Asia.

Mr Magnusson is a Swedish citizen and holds Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from top-ranked universities in Sweden (Chalmers University) and Canada (University of Waterloo). He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Uppsala University, Sweden.

Mr Ong Pang Thye is the Managing Partner of KPMG in Singapore since 1 October 2016. He is also a Board Member of KPMG International.

Mr Ong has more than 30 years of experience in accounting, auditing and consulting working with companies in various industries. The industries he has worked in are Banking, Asset Management, Infrastructure, Media and Real Estate. He was previously the Head of Audit Practice in Singapore and KPMG’s Head of Accounting Advisory Services in Asia Pacific.

Mr Neil Parekh is the Chairman of Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the International Advisory Committee for the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Singapore. He is also a member of the Governing Council of the Singapore Institute of Directors as well as serving on the advisory committee for James Cook University, Singapore. Mr Parekh serves on the Investment Committee for SINDA and is a former member of the Governing Council of the Association of Banks in Singapore.

Mr Parekh is a Partner and Head of Asia, Australia & New Zealand at Tikehau Capital. He is also concurrently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Pegasus Asia - one of the first SPACs listed on the Singapore Exchange. Prior to his current positions, Mr Parekh was General Manager, Asia for National Australia Bank (NAB) where he was responsible for all business, regulatory and governance matters in the Asia region.

Besides having deep knowledge of traditional players in banking, asset and wealth management, insurance, and non-bank finance companies, he takes an active interest in Fintech and currently serves as a director of Elevandi (established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, MAS) to expand its current fintech ecosystem), as a director of AMTD Digital and as a Board Advisor to AFIN-ASEAN Financial Innovation Network (formed by the International Finance Corporation and the MAS).

Mr Parekh holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, a Master's degree in Finance and an MBA in International Business.

Mr Kozo To is the President of Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry Singapore. He is also the Director, Executive Vice President, CFO and COO of Sumitomo Corporation Asia & Oceania Pte Ltd in Singapore and Assistant General Manager for Asia & Oceania of Sumitomo Corporation in Japan.

He joined Sumitomo Corporation in 1989 and has more than 20 years of leadership experience in human resources and corporate planning.

He graduated from School of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in Economics.

Mr Kurt Wee is the President of the Association of Small & Medium Enterprises and chairs the SBF SME Committee since 2018. He also serves on the executive council of Singapore Children’s Society, where he has chaired the Appeals (fundraising) Committee since 2007.

He has a career spanning the last 20 years in the investment and private equity industry. He is invested in the medical and biotechnology fields of stem cells and small cells research. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Celligenics Pte Ltd since 2016. Mr Wee is consulted by enterprises for turnarounds, recovery and corporate restructuring situations.

Mr Wee was appointed as a Justice of The Peace by the President of the Republic of Singapore in April 2018. He also serves in a number of committees in various government ministries and academic institutions.

He is a Council Member of the Singapore-Sichuan Trade & Investment Council. He previously served as a member of the Singapore Tianjin Economic & Trade Council as well.

Mr Wong Kee Joo is the Chief Executive Officer for HSBC Singapore, which he commenced in June 2021.

A Singaporean, Kee Joo has more than 26 years of banking experience across different markets including the UK, Thailand, Hong Kong and China.

Prior to being CEO of Singapore, he was HSBC's Regional Head of Global Liquidity and Cash Management for the Asia Pacific region - a role he has held since January 2015. In this role, he led HSBC's delivery of integrated cash management solutions to a multitude of clients across the region including multinational corporations, mid-market enterprises, small businesses, and financial institutions.

From 2009-2015, he was Head of Global Liquidity and Cash Management for China and, prior to that, Thailand. In both markets, he was responsible for leading the execution of HSBC's growth, investment, and emerging markets strategy, while leveraging on his strong client orientation and leadership credentials.

Mr Tan Zhiyong is the President of China Enterprises Association (Singapore) and Chief Executive Officer of MCC Singapore, the overseas branch of China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC Group). Under his leadership, MCC Singapore has transformed from a construction subcontracting firm in 1996 to the integrated urban development corporation of today, including investments, urban planning and development, property development, project management, construction, and community service. In managing MCC Singapore, Mr Tan insists on localisation, specialisation, intensification, and digitalisation. Currently, MCC Singapore has achieved a fully digitalised circuit connecting its business's different stages and segments. With its key focus on sustainability and innovation, MCC Singapore has established its presence in all corners of the island city-state and is gradually expanding its business to other countries and regions, including Malaysia, Indonesia, and Cambodia.

Mr Tan holds a Bachelor of Science (Civil Engineering) from Tsinghua University, China, a Master of Science (Geotechnical Engineering) from the Central Research Institute of Building and Construction (CRIBC), as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Australia.

Mr Wong Wai Meng is the Chairman of SGTech and chairs the SBF Digitalisation Committee. He is Chief Executive Officer of Keppel Data Centres Holding and has almost 30 years of experience in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry and currently spearheads the company's thrust towards being one of the leading data centre developers and solution provider in Europe and Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining Keppel T&T, he was Vice President of BT Advise BT Global Services across Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Turkey (AMEA) where he managed the company's practices in business consulting, systems integration, software development, networking, mobility, collaboration, and security. He was also CEO of the BT Frontline group of companies where he played a critical role in the integration of BT Frontline into BT Global Services.

He was also Council Member in Information Technology Standards Committee (ITSC), Chairman of Green IT Technical Committee (GITTC), Member in BCA-IMDA Greenmark for Data Centre Taskforce, and Committee Member in the Technology Strategy Committee of Mount Alvernia Hospital.
